Devonport Folk Music Club meets every Monday at the historic command post, "The Bunker" on Mt Victoria, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand.
The Bunker has been home to the Folk Club for 46 years.
The best local and visiting overseas singers and musicians are hosted. A Club Night or Concert Night is a good inexpensive night out in the company of friends.
Please take note of door charges as they may vary for concerts.
This programme is subject to change. It is always a good idea to ring first if there is something special you want to see - it is essential to book early for concerts, as space is limited.
All evenings start 8pm unless otherwise specified.
Monday 1s PROJECT ALBATROSS – Hanna Wiskari, Louise Evans & Tim Chia are special guests – saxaphone and fiddle and guitar. Members $3 non-members $5

Sunday 21st FIRE IN THE MOUNTAIN 7-10pm – Micheal Young hosts a session. All welcome. No charge.
Monday 22nd CLUB NIGHT - yet another night to give it a go. Members $3 non-members $5
Sunday 28th BUNKER HILL UNPLUGGED – 4 singer/songwriters invited for your entertainment. Hosted by Micheal Young. Entry $5 cash
Monday 29th BRENDA LIDDIARD – our guest plays and sings her special songs – magic. Members $3 non-members $5

Monday 12th THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT – special guests play timeless American and bluegrass. Members $3 non-members $5
Wednesday 14th AUCKLAND BLUEGRASS & OLD TIME COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB – Club night
Sunday 18th FIRE IN THE MOUNTAIN 7 – 10pm - bring your instrument for an informal session round the fire with Micheal Young. No charge
Monday 19th WIRES & WOOD – ‘Longtime, no see’ special guest bluegrass at its best. Members $3 non-members $5
Sunday 25th TORU with CHRIS PRIESTLEY IN CONCERT – a blast from the past. 25 years of RUA and ACOUSTIC CONFUSION. Don’t miss ‘em. Tickets $15

The DFMC's venue is known as "The Bunker"
Location: On Mt Victoria, off Kerr St, Devonport
You can find us by taking the summit road (off Kerr Street) to the carpark at the top. Walk past the Ports of Auckland Signal Station, down the steps to the grass track with the statue, and you will find the Bunker nestled in the side of the mountain, overlooking Devonport and the harbour.
The Bunker was built in 1891, as a command post to watch for possible Russian invasion!
